Dennis Sheridan - Midwestern Pacific
My friend and Louisville ex-pat asked me to draw the cover art for a solo album. The direction was to have an anthropomorphic buffalo rowing out to sea. This was the first real drawing assignment I had had for an actual project. I was incredibly honored and humbled that Dennis asked for my art and did the best I could.
This was done in mid 2019 using Autodesk Sketchbook on Samsung Galaxy tablet.
The back cover came much more quickly than the front. I was energized by completing the front cover and considered where the ol’ buffalo might have settled in for the night.
